Your logo shows up in three places: the top-left of your public church site, the admin sidebar header, and the favicon (the tiny icon in the browser tab). Uploading a real logo is one of the fastest ways to make the site feel like yours instead of a generic template.
How to upload
- Open Church settings.
- Scroll to the Logos card.
- Click Color logo → pick a file from your computer.
That's it. The new logo appears immediately on your public site (and your admin sidebar).
What to upload
- Format: PNG or SVG (SVG is best — it scales perfectly).
- Size: at least 400px wide is safe. Bigger is fine.
- Background: transparent if possible. If your logo has a white box around it, ask your designer for a "transparent PNG."
- Aspect ratio: wider than tall works best (most logos are wider). Square logos work too but get cropped in some places.
The "white logo" option
There's a second upload slot called White logo. This is the same logo but in white (or another light color) so it stays visible on dark backgrounds — for example, if a member switches their app to dark mode, or if you ever use a dark hero section on your home page.
If you only have one logo, leave the white slot empty. The system will fall back to your color logo on dark backgrounds (it may be hard to read, but nothing breaks).
Don't have a logo yet?
You can skip this step and come back later. The site will use your church's first letter inside a circle as a placeholder — readable, but obviously a placeholder.
If you want a logo made: any local graphic designer can usually do a simple wordmark logo for $100–300. Or use a tool like Canva for a quick first version.
