Your logo shows up in three places: the top of your public church site, the top bar inside the app, and, unless you set one separately, the favicon (the tiny icon in the browser tab). Uploading your own logo is what makes the site feel like yours instead of a generic template.
How to upload
- Open Church Details in Settings.
- Find the Logos card.
- Under Color Logo, pick a file from your computer or from your media library.
That's it. The change saves on its own, and the new logo shows on your public site and in the app's top bar.
The same card has a Navbar Display choice (Text only, Logo only or Logo + text) for how your church name and logo appear together in the top navigation.
What to upload
- Format: PNG or SVG is best; SVG scales without losing quality. JPG, GIF, WebP and AVIF also upload. Each file can be up to 5 MB.
- Size: at least 400px wide is safe. Bigger is fine.
- Background: transparent if possible. If your logo has a white box around it, ask your designer for a "transparent PNG."
- Aspect ratio: wider than tall works best (most logos are wider). Square logos work too but get cropped in some places.
The "white logo" option
There's a second upload slot called White Logo. This is the same logo but in white (or another light color) so it stays visible on dark backgrounds. The place it matters most is the website's navigation bar when it sits transparent over a dark hero photo.
If you only have one logo, leave the white slot empty. The site falls back to your color logo on dark backgrounds (it may be hard to read, but nothing breaks).
Don't have a logo yet?
You can skip this step and come back later. Until you upload one, the site shows your church name as text, and the browser-tab icon is a monogram of your church's initials.
The browser-tab icon has its own Favicon card on the same settings page, where you can upload a custom one or adjust the monogram.
If you want a logo made: any local graphic designer can usually do a simple wordmark logo for $100 to $300. Or use a tool like Canva for a quick first version.
