WorshipBoard is a free presentation app for the computer you project from — lyrics, scripture, and announcements on screen during your service. It's a separate download, not a browser tab, but it connects straight to your church's ECA account once you pair it.
Download it
Open WorshipBoard settings and download the build for your presentation computer — Mac (Apple Silicon or Intel) or Windows.
Pair it with your church account
- Open WorshipBoard on that computer.
- Click Sign in — your default browser opens automatically.
- Sign in to your ECA account if you aren't already, then click Authorize to connect WorshipBoard to your church.
- Switch back to WorshipBoard — it now shows your church's name, and you're ready to present.
No API keys to copy, no separate WorshipBoard account to create. It's the same sign-in you already use for the church admin.
Back on the WorshipBoard settings page, the Connection tab lists every device that's paired this way — useful once more than one computer presents (a media booth laptop plus a backup, for example). You can revoke a device from there if a computer is retired or lost.
Free vs. paid
WorshipBoard itself is always free to download and run — full local presentation, single device, with a small watermark on the output.
Any paid ECA church plan removes the watermark and unlocks sync: songs and service plans you build in the ECA admin (or in WorshipBoard) flow both ways, and more than one device can stay connected to the same church. If your church is on a paid plan already, this is included — nothing extra to buy.
What's next
Once you're paired, open Create your first WorshipBoard set to build a theme and put together your first Sunday.
