Once Stripe is approved and your bank account is connected, your church can receive online donations. But money doesn't flow until people know the link exists. Here's how to share it well.

…or if you've set up a custom domain, https://{yourdomain}/give.
You can also use the short link https://{yourslug}.easychurchapp.com/g — it redirects to the same page. Easier to remember when announcing from the pulpit.
Five quick wins
- Announce it Sunday — "We've added online giving. Go to gracechurch.org/give." Mention it for three Sundays in a row; people need to hear something more than once to remember it.
- Add it to your email signature —
Give online: gracechurch.org/give - Add a QR code to your bulletin — generate one at qr-code-generator.com, pointing at
/give. Print it in the bulletin. Many older members find QR codes from the pulpit easier than typing a URL. - Send a one-time email — to your full mailing list: "Online giving is now available." Two sentences and the link.
- Pin a post on Facebook — if your church has a Facebook page, pin a post with the link.
What members see
Your give page lets them:
- One-time gift — enter amount, choose a fund (General, Missions, Building — whatever funds you've configured), pay with card or bank transfer (ACH).
- Recurring gift — set up weekly, biweekly, monthly, or annual gifts. Member can change or cancel anytime.
- Designate to a fund — multiple "funds" (e.g. General, Missions, Building) appear as a dropdown.
- Get a tax receipt — automatic IRS-compliant emailed receipt for every gift. Annual statements available in January.
Configure your funds first
Before sharing the link broadly, open Giving admin and decide what funds you want donors to give to. Most churches have at least:
- General Fund (default, untargeted gifts)
- Missions
- Building (if you have a current building project)
You can add more or fewer. Members will see this list as a dropdown when they give.
Tracking who gave what
Every donation shows up in Giving admin — search, filter, export. Year-end statements generate automatically from this same data; you don't have to track anything manually.
